Underfoot from day one.
Puppies are born and reared in the house and the yard, around the noise of a working farm: tractors, boots, other dogs, children. By the time they leave they have met the things that would otherwise worry them.
Both parents are health tested and their results published in full on this site. We only breed from dogs that work, and we are happy to talk through lines, temperament and what a puppy from a given pairing is likely to be like.
Every puppy goes home wormed, microchipped, vet-checked and Kennel Club registered, with a diet sheet and as much ongoing advice as you want.
Born and reared underfoot.
The first eight weeks: whelping box, kitchen floor, farmyard noise and the rest of the team wandering past. By the time they leave they have met most of what might otherwise worry them.
And then they go.
Photographs sent back by the families who took them. Some still small, some very much not. There is no better reference than a dog that has settled.
